A Day at Olga’s Living with Art
Spend the day in Coudersport with Olga Snyder, a professional artist and arts instructor, in the wonderfully creative environment of her studio and gallery, Olga’s Living with Art. Workshops include six hours of instruction with an hour lunch break to give you the opportunity to explore historic downtown Coudersport with its friendly eateries and charming shops. These workshops will be either Pysanky, Batik, or Jewelry Workshops depending on which weekend you choose. All these workshops are suitable for children and adults alike!
Pysanky (Ukrainian eggs): Traditional and contemporary pysanky make wonderful gifts for your friends and family. This fun art form uses a special tool, wax and dye to create beautiful, unique, little pieces of art out of real eggs
.
Batik- Make creative silk ‘paintings’ with dye and wax. This is home décor that is fun to create for yourself or someone else!
Jewelry- Create custom jewelry from an assortment of beads and ‘jewels’. You can choose to make jewelry, key chains, or bead sculptures. You are the artist!

Day in the PA Wilds with Eppie Bailey & Olga Snyder
Join professional artists Eppie Bailey of Zephyr Art and Olga Snyder on and around the grounds of the Pennsylvania Lumber Museum. There’s no better setting for this workshop on basic watercolor painting, sketching and observation. Marvel in the wonders of nature as Eppie and Olga link together small arts and crafts projects that expose participants to techniques, materials, and creative thought. This workshop involves light hiking led by the Susquehannock Trail Club, so bring your hiking boots and lots of energy.
